Tom Andrzejewski blends almost four decades of experience in media, politics and community affairs to help clients deal with the media and manage crises and issues. He has worked with numerous individuals, businesses and other organizations across Ohio, including major companies, institutions, executives and public entities.


Tom, who has been inducted into the Press Club of Cleveland Journalism Hall of Fame, spent nearly 25 years at The Plain Dealer, where he received numerous national, state and local awards, ranging from the Silver Gavel of the American Bar Association to the Good Neighbor Award of the Association of Neighborhood Councils.


Among his civic activities, Tom  is a director of the Center for Community Solutions and chairs its programming committee. He is also past president of the board of Community Re-Entry, a nationally acclaimed program to reduce crime by working with ex-offenders, and remains on its board and executive committee.  Tom served as a member of the Special Commission on Sexual Abuse in the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland and chaired its communication committee. He is also a member the Learning and Earning for Life Community Vision Council of United Way Services and the Public Affairs Committee of the Greater Cleveland Partnership.


In the public arena, Tom has been an advisor to candidates for numerous municipal, county, state and federal offices.  Those included Cleveland Mayor Frank G. Jackson and Cleveland Law Director Robert J. Triozzi. Tom served on the Jackson Transition Team as a community relations advisor and is a member of the Mayor’s Operations Efficiency Task Force.


Tom served for eight years on the board of the Convention & Visitors Bureau of Greater Cleveland at the behest of former Cleveland Mayor Michael R. White.  While at The Plain Dealer, Tom was an officer and executive board member of Local 1 of The Newspaper Guild and represented Local 1 as a delegate to the Cleveland AFL-CIO Federation of Labor. 


He is a graduate of Cleveland State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature.  Tom is a Vietnam veteran of the 101st Airborne Division and among other decorations was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, the Air Medal and the Army Commendation Medal.

Leslie Kay applies her skills as a former award-winning investigative journalist to help shape clients’ communications and convey their messages for the greatest impact.  She also uses her ability to “look from the outside in” to cover all aspects of a situation, prepare spokespersons for media interviews and keep communications programs on track.


Leslie’s no-nonsense writing and editing abilities lead to accurate, interesting and clear copy for client communications that include brochures, newsletters, articles, scripts and other communications.  She is a former Plain Dealer editor and reporter and has won national, state and local awards for investigative reporting and public service, including the prestigious Silver Gavel of the American Bar Association.  She also served as editor of and chief contributor to A Citizen's Guide to Cleveland, published by the League of Women Voters of Cleveland Educational Fund, Inc.
